National Vocations Week – January 9-14

This year’s National Vocation Awareness Week will be celebrated January 9–14.

We are all called by God to live our faith each day and to seek out our vocation, whether it is to become a priest, deacon, religious sister, married or single person. Have you ever thought about what God is calling you to do? Perhaps He is calling you to the priesthood or to consecrated life. Do you have the courage to follow your heart?

National Vocation Awareness Week is a great time for reflection! All are encouraged to:

  • Take time to pray for vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life.
  • Reflect on your own vocation and strengthen your personal relationship with Christ.
  • Educate young people about the importance of silent prayer.
  • Take time to truly listen to God’s voice in you heart.
